This is an integral part of your UCPlus integration working, if your handset is not registered to the UCPlus server, it simply won't work!
Currently, we need to manually configure these settings on the handset. Firstly, we need to access the handsets web user interface, to do this we need the IP address of your device. Push the Down navigational key, this will display the IP address.
Enter this IP address into a web browser and press enter. Please ensure your the PC you are trying to connect from is on the same network as the handset.
Log into the phone, the username is admin, but the password will be unique to your environment. If you don't know this, please contact support (support@boom.lmited) who will be able to help.
Once logged in, navigate to the Line section and select an unused SIP account from the drop down menu. We are using SIP 4.
Please note, you do not need to adjust any of the settings of any other SIP account on the handset. For example SIP 1 should be registered as normal using manual or auto provisioning. But there needs to be a standard SIP account registered to the handset, i.e. the one you use to make and take calls.
Some of these settings will be specific to your environment so please contact support if you need assistance. Input the following:
Username: The account number of the standard account registered to the handset (usually, the same as SIP 1)
Display Name: We have set UC+, but this is only there to easily identify what this account is for, it is not used for anything else.
Authentication Name: The same as Username (The account number of the standard account registered to the handset usually, the same as SIP)
Password: This is NOT the same password as your standard SIP account, this should be provided when you acquire your licence. If not, contact support.
SIP Proxy Server: 5.144.84.201
SIP Proxy Server Port: This is unique to your environment and should be provided when you acquire your licence, if not, contact support.
All other settings can be left blank or as their default value.
Ensure you click the tick box to activate the account! Then press Apply.
We now need to click Advanced Settings while still in the SIP 4 page. Navigate to near the bottom of the page and fine Transportation Protocol and uCSTA Number.
In Transportation Protocol, use the drop down menu to select TCP.
The uCSTA Number is the same account number you entered in Username and Authentication Name Above. Once done, click Apply.
Finally, Open SIP Global Settings (from the dame page) and ensure that uCTSA Enable is ticked. If not, tick it an press Apply.
The Line status should now say "Registered" and if you have a Line Key configured on your handset for SIP 4, this should go green. Your handset is now ready for use with UCPlus.
You can now configure UCPlus on your PC .
